Top Italian and international players all agree: the future will pass from the combination of innovation, sustainability and digitalization of professional equipment.

Refrigeration and equipment for the cold, but not only. During the five days of Host2021, there will be many catering companies that will bring a 360° idea of professional hospitality to the fair. “In a space of 252 square meters, we will present our wide range through some distinctive concepts. We will welcome customers in the “At Work” area, modeled on a modern office environment, complete with a micro-market, and a brand new fully automated retail solution”, explains Chris CopeTrue Refrigeration EMEA Marketing Coordinator.

“Guests will then be guided through the ‘True Avenue’, consisting of a food truck with micro-kitchen, a retail supermarket (with e-Grocery area), a dark kitchen with delivery and Grab & Go bakery installations, then to a Dine In Restaurant area, and finally to a bar concept showing examples of our powder coating service, where customers can choose the color of their refrigerator. Furthermore, all areas will see our products on display, including display cases with glass doors, refrigerated warehouses, freezers and a range of preparation tables, most of which are still unpublished for the market”.

The focus of Evco Spa, which has just received the green label of the SMART Label Award 2021, will instead be all on IoT and digitalization. “The award-winning product this year is the first temperature controller that integrates an Ethernet port with native IP connectivity and full IoT potential in minimal space and at reduced costs. In addition to functioning as a controller, it can also operate as an IoT gateway and data-logger for other control devices (up to 10), connected via the RS-485 serial port. In this way, it is possible to create a network of Horeca machinery managed remotely from the cloud platform”, the Belluno company said, underlining how “the solution can be used for industry 4.0, to the advantage of greater efficiency of processes, with a reduction in waste, and in installation and technical assistance costs”.

The same (successful) combination of innovation and sustainability is what also allowed Epta, through the Eurocryor brand, to receive the Green SMART Label 2021 for the launch of a traditional refrigerated counter, equipped with the special Adaptive System. “A recognition that testifies to the uniqueness of this furniture, capable of combining aesthetics, innovative strength, technology and sustainability”, assures Giorgio De Ponti, Product Strategy Manager of the multinational group. “The design of the furniture, whose design and model are registered, stems from the desire to guarantee operators a correct posture, bending a maximum of 45° on the counter. Further key factors are the raised display surface, the ergonomic sloping bench, the sliding worktop and the glass closure of the internal section of the furniture.

This technical feature ensures numerous advantages, including excellent storage of the articles, a high load volume and energy savings of 10% compared to standard models. Finally, the performance of the cabinet is further optimized thanks to the Adaptive System, the refrigeration management system that adjusts the operating parameters of the cabinet, with continuous adaptation to environmental variations, to ensure optimal performance in terms of temperature stability and maintenance of the humidity, with consequent extension of the shelf life and reduction of energy consumption”.
